To be successful in this role, you will need to show the following qualities:
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
· Communicate and coordinate with customers in person, by phone and by email to understand their business needs as they relate to our products/services
· Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s various products and services
· Build and maintain contacts with customers to secure new business opportunities
· Preparing quotes, respond to new leads, and customer enquiries that are in line with established pricing
· Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales, as needed
· Attend regional and interstate trips when required
· Establish and nurture relationships with former clients and potential clients through networking, cold calling and industry research to increase sales and successfully close B2B business
· Developing plans with management to expand existing market segments
· Tracking the progress of leads and maintain weekly sales report to the manager
· Achieving agreed upon sales targets and sets KPI (Probation Period Apply)
Selection criteria:
· Strong passion in the renewable energy industry, a general understanding of solar PV system and associated regulations in Australia
· Excellent communication skills in liaising with our clients, electricians, installers
· Mature, smart in appearance with great Interpersonal skills and comfort with meeting new people on a daily basis
· Has a positive attitude and impeccable attention to detail in preparing quotes and continuous improvement
· Experience in new business generation with proven track record of closing deals a plus
· Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft office 365 (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook), Google Drive and etc
· Initiative to stay up to date with the latest industry news and to learn the ropes
· Ability to work autonomously and within a small team environment and take on the responsibility of tasks from inception to finish
· Time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner
· Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods
· Strong commercial acumen with an in-depth knowledge of sales cycles
· Multilingual speakers in both verbal and written communication can be an advantage.
