Chinese-speaking tour guides wanted for student study tours
We are a study tour operator on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane for over 10 years. This year we have over 500 students attending our study tours and need tour guidesfor both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The students usually come for around 7 – 10 days, and the average age is 10 – 17 years.
TASKS FOR TOUR GUIDES - Look after the students and ensure their safety
- Introduce attractions and the cultural differences between Australia and China (if they exist)
- Teach the English names and words related to attractions
- Introduce some easy Australian slang to enhance their travel experience
- Welcome homestay families and help solve problems to give a positive image of Australia
- Coordinate between the students, families, agents, and Management to support open communication
- Get feedback from students and families and inform Management for continual service improvement
- Provide high-quality Tour Guide service and solve challenges as they arise to support Management and Agents.
Successful candidates should - Speak fluent Chinese and English
- Must be available in July for the job
- Outgoing, Enthusiastic and comfortable with public speaking
- University students are preferred but not essential
Full training and a competitive salary (on average $30 per hour) will be offered to the suitable candidates.
