新的政策提早公布了 从9月19日开始实行 只要是在澳洲或以下几个国家读了5年或5年以上full time 的
高中+大学 大学+vocational 或 高中+大学+vocational education 这5年必须要有2年的本科学习
在注册的时候 就能豁免雅思4个7啦~\(≧▽≦)/~啦啦啦
不过其他的申请者还是必须出示雅思4个7或OET B才能注册 哎╮(╯▽╰)╭

• Canada
• New Zealand
• Republic of Ireland
• South Africa
• United Kingdom
• United States of America

applicants who have completed a minimum of five years (full-time equivalent) of combined secondary and/or vocational and/or tertiary education taught and assessed in English are considered to have met the standard and therefore do not need to sit an English language test. All other applicants are required to submit evidence of English proficiency

*The completion of five (5) years (full-time equivalent)
education taught and assessed in English means five
(5) years full-time equivalent of either:
i). tertiary and secondary; or
ii). tertiary and vocational; or
iii). combined tertiary, secondary and vocational education

taught and assessed in English in any of the
recognised countries listed in this registration
standard. These five (5) years must include evidence
of a minimum of two (2) years full-time equivalent
pre-registration program of study approved by the
recognised nursing and/or midwifery regulatory
body in any of the countries listed in this registration
standard.

真可谓是几家欢喜 几家愁啊 在澳洲读过2年高中和vocational education的童鞋们还是很占便宜啊 对我们来说的确是个好消息

然后这是文档上vocational和Pre-registration的解释
Vocational means all forms of formal education beyond
secondary education, including programs of study leading
to registration as an enrolled nurse.
应该是指TAFE 不知道说的对不对 其中包括
    * Certificate I
    * Certificate II
    * Certificate III
    * Certificate IV
    * Diplomas
    * Advanced diplomas  

Pre-registration means all forms of formal nursing and
midwifery education beyond secondary education leading
to initial registration.

ok , i have experience, ..

I applied my registration before, they consider

Certificate 3  certificate 4 ,( including uni foundation year ),as tertiary education.

only years 12 can be consider as secondary education.

becuase i receive a letter before to reject my application. I did my cert 3 + foundation here in aus.

anyway , i got my registration last year by other method.  Gd luck

but please dont forgot, when u apply PR,   the only 1 things u need is ielts.

u have yr registration do not mean u can get yr PR.

their old requirement was like if yr secondary education was taugh and assessed in english, u will be able to grant an exception to get the registration without IELTS.
just DL the gereral application form , u will c there is a question asking about this.

However, their reply was Uni foundation year ( certificate 4 ) is consider as tertiary education not secondary education.

Evidence to demonstrate secondary education should include certified copies of original documentation that identifies clearly:  the name and address of your secondary education institution/s  the years and levels (for example, Year 10, 11 and/or 12) you attended secondary education  the highest level you completed in secondary education and  the studies completed as a full-time student and/or as a part-time student.

Evidence to demonstrate vocational and/or tertiary education should include certified copies of original documentation that identifies clearly:  the name and address of your vocational and/or tertiary study education institution/s  the year/s you attended vocational and/or tertiary education  the highest level you completed in the vocational and/or tertiary education  an Academic Transcript detailing all subjects completed at the vocational and/or tertiary level  Certificate of Attainment in the vocational and/or tertiary course if applicable  the studies completed as a full-time and/or part-time student and  duration of the course/s.
