ReservationsAgent – Mandarin Speaking

TangaloomaIsland Resort, located on Moreton Island, is one of the most respected IslandResorts on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. The Resort caters for both theDomestic and International markets and is renowned for its Dolphin Care andResearch Programme. We currently have an exciting opportunity for aReservations Clerk to join our team at the Eagle Farm head office.

Duties

·        Liaisingclosely with our Chinese agents and guests

·        Answeringof incoming telephone reservations from guests and agents in a professionalmanner

·        Providinginformation on the property to secure bookings

·         Making reservations bookings on behalf ofguests

·        Promptauctioning of guest email enquires

·        Processingonline reservations

·        Takingand processing payments

·        Completingall associated administrative tasks

·        Liaisingwith other internal departments as required

·        Guestcheck in at our departure terminal

Skillsrequired

·        Provenexperience in the Hospitality industry

·        Experiencewithin a similar position

·        Excellentcustomer service and problem solving skills

·        Strongcommunication skills

·        Self-motivatedwith the ability to work unsupervised

·        Fluentin English and Mandarin. Cantonese speaking an advantage but not a requirement

Requirementto work weekends and public holidays.
