Responsibilities

·        Support the IT manager with the maintenance ofhardware, software and other systems as

needed

·        Troubleshoot issues with equipment, i.e.,printers, and computers

·        Run software updates and backups as requested

·        Research technology solutions and pricing asrequired

·        Research unusual issues the district mayencounter

·        Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·        Must be enrolled at a college/university witha major in Information Technology/Computer

science

·        Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems,Mac helpful but not

required.

·        Familiar with mainstream programming languages(C#, html, CSS, JavaScript is mandatory)

·        Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office and M365 products

·        Basic understanding of a Microsoft Windowsenvironment is helpful

·        Good understanding of computer hardware

·        Basic understanding of how computer networkswork

·        Good communication and teamwork skills

·        Problem-solving abilities and innovativethinking
